ATLANTA JEWISH TIMES ARTICLE: Building On Mt. Zion

The property holdings of the Diaspora Yeshiva on Mt. Zion represent one of the largest assemblages of properties in the Old City of Jerusalem.  These properties comprise a national treasure. Though the Yeshiva has been a vibrant institution since 1967, much of its holdings have remained unused.  The summer of 2005 saw the creation of the Mt. Zion Redevelopment Project, whose goal is to turn the Yeshiva’s properties into a worldwide Jewish outreach center.
